What this is
GridProof is a spot grid trading bot for Bitcoin, written in Python, that you will be able to download and run yourself. A grid bot places a ladder of buy orders below the current price and sell orders above it, so it buys small pieces as price dips and sells small pieces as price rises, collecting the difference between grid levels over and over while the market moves sideways. This bot runs a static grid: 10 levels spread across a band 20 percent above and below the price where it started. There is no leverage, no futures, and no martingale. It is a simple, explainable strategy, and simple is the point, because you can check every part of what it does.
The live record
The record started on October 15, 2026, with $10,000 in virtual money, and it runs on live Bitcoin prices. Every trade the bot makes is logged, and every trade is charged a 0.1 percent fee in the accounting, because a record without fees is a story, not a record. Two numbers matter most. The total shows what the whole account is worth right now, including the Bitcoin the bot is holding, so it falls when Bitcoin falls. The pocketed profit shows only completed buy and sell pairs, counted first in, first out, with fees taken out. That number is money the grid has actually banked along the way, and it never goes backward. Watching both numbers together is the honest way to judge a grid bot, because a grid bot can be pocketing small profits while its total is down in a falling market, and both of those things are true at once.

How paper mode works
Paper mode runs the exact same code that will trade at launch, against live market prices, with virtual money instead of real money. Orders fill at the prices the market actually prints, and the fee model is applied to every fill. One honest limitation: real markets include slippage and partial fills that paper trading cannot reproduce perfectly, so a live account will never match a paper record to the cent. Paper trading is a test of the strategy and the code, not a promise of live results, and this page will never present it as one.
What buyers get at launch
When the record reaches the point where selling this bot is defensible, the download opens to the waitlist first. Buyers get the exact bot that produced the record on this page, not a simplified version. It runs on your own computer, in paper mode by default, with the grid settings in a plain config file you can read and change. The setup guide walks through connecting your own exchange account with trade only API keys, which means the bot can place orders but can never withdraw your funds. Your keys and your money stay on your side. Nothing about your account is sent anywhere.
One payment for the download. No subscription.
Every purchase is covered by a 14-day technical-failure guarantee: a full refund if the software will not run as documented and support cannot fix it. Trading results are never refundable.
The risks, stated plainly
Grid bots have a real failure mode and this page will not hide it. When Bitcoin trends down for a long stretch, a grid bot keeps buying on the way down and ends up holding a position that is worth less than it cost, while the pocketed profit only partly offsets the drop. When Bitcoin trends up hard, the bot sells early and watches the price run without it. Grid trading suits ranging, choppy markets, and this bot is a tool for those conditions, not a machine that wins in all of them. Nothing on this page is financial advice, and past performance, including a paper record, does not guarantee future results.
Frequently asked questions
Is this real money?
No. The bot on this page trades a paper account that started with $10,000 in virtual funds on October 15, 2026. It uses live Bitcoin prices and charges itself a 0.1 percent fee on every trade, but no real money is at risk, and no real money will be connected to this bot until the record has had a fair chance to prove or embarrass itself.
Do grid trading bots actually work?
A grid bot works mechanically exactly as designed: it buys dips and sells rallies inside its price band and banks the spread between levels. Whether that adds up to a profit depends on the market. In ranging markets the small completed trades can accumulate; in strong trends the same bot can fall behind simply holding Bitcoin. That is why this bot publishes its record instead of asking you to take anyone's word for it.
Why paper trading first instead of just selling the bot?
Because selling an unproven bot is easy and proving one is slow, and the internet already has plenty of the first kind. Running the bot in public on paper money produces a record anyone can audit, including the drawdowns. If the record ends up weak, the honest outcome is that the download never opens, and the waitlist gets an email saying exactly that.
When can I download the bot, and what exactly do I get?
The download opens to the waitlist first, once the paper record covers enough market conditions to judge the strategy fairly. You get the same Python bot that runs this record, a config file for the grid band, number of levels, and trade size, paper mode enabled by default, and a setup guide covering installation and safe exchange key practices. Pricing will be announced to the waitlist before launch, and there will be no countdown timers or launch day pressure attached to it.
What are the risks of running a grid bot with real money?
The main risk is a long downtrend: the bot buys all the way down and holds Bitcoin that is worth less than it cost, and the small banked profits may not cover the difference. Fees also add up over hundreds of small trades, and a bot left running unattended through a major market move can end up fully invested at exactly the wrong time. Anyone who runs this or any grid bot live should size it as money they can afford to see drop significantly, and should understand the strategy before funding it.
Is this financial advice?
No. This page documents a software experiment and sells software. It does not recommend that anyone trade Bitcoin, use a grid strategy, or buy this bot. Cryptocurrency is volatile and can lose value quickly, and decisions about your money belong to you and, where appropriate, a licensed professional you trust.
